Multilingual teacher. Linguistic specialist in professional soccer.
I am a multilingual language tutor with a passion for people, cultures, and meaningful connections. I have been teaching and supporting individuals in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish for over 20 years, helping them thrive both personally and professionally in new environments.
From 2005 to 2020, I taught Standard Arabic at the University of London, SOAS, and in 2016 I began working closely with non-English-speaking Premier League and Championship football players, their coaches, and staff. My role goes beyond language teaching — I help students settle into life in the UK, navigate daily tasks, and understand cultural nuances, always with care, confidentiality, and a touch of fun.
I also have experience as a researcher, consultant, translator, and educator for FTSE companies, media organisations and government bodies. Multilingualism is not just my expertise — it’s my lived experience. I understand what it’s like to juggle multiple languages and navigate different cultural contexts.
At Dialecty, I bring empathy, enjoyment, and a structured approach to every lesson. My method emphasises independent learning, consistency, and trust. I work with semi- and professional athletes, coaches, sports students, fitness professionals, and busy adults who want practical, efficient, and engaging language learning.
Dialecty reflects my love of languages in all their shapes. Just as dialects evolve into languages over time, communication grows and changes as we interact. Together, we’ll embrace the evolving world of language and culture — one kick at a time.
